Please stop building rooms like these. Do yourself a favor and call the place a hostel, not a hotel. Student rooms are better.

This is a minimalist place for sleeping, showering, and having breakfast, with A/C and a TV, and that's enough for a one-night stop. It's meant for mechanics and tradesmen passing through, or for people catching the ferry from the port, rather than families or vacationers. Anyone leaving a one-star review has misunderstood the kind of hotel it is. For €5 extra, the adequate breakfast buffet includes juice, eggs, and ham, with plates and cutlery.

The room felt more like a hostel or a prison cell, and I've stayed in much better hotels for less money in far bigger cities. I can't see why these miserable rooms cost so much. For what we paid, this was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in Europe. Avoid it if you can.

A practical place to stop overnight on a journey. The rooms aren't high class, but they're clean and serviceable, the reception staff are helpful, and food and drink are available. It's close enough to the motorway to be handy without being noisy, and the price is fair.

The rooms could've been cleaner, and noise carries through the walls. Fine if you're just passing through.
