The staff were so accommodating that I'd definitely stay again if I were passing through Bar le Duc and needed a place. The rooms are dated but spacious, with comfortable beds, and the food was great. For 20 Euro, the fixed menu gave us plenty to eat, and breakfast was included, simple but good enough. Hotel Bertrand is budget-friendly and good for somewhere to put your head down. We got what we paid for, and it was worth it. I wouldn't go out of my way to stay here, but it's certainly doable if you're in Bar le Duc.

The place looked tired. Breakfast was expensive, so we skipped it.
