We were seven, and the little boutique hotel suited us perfectly. Even though we got in later than planned, they kept the restaurant open, so we could enjoy dinner, then slept really well and had a delicious breakfast. Everything was freshly prepared. We only wished we could have stayed longer.

We'd happily come back. The evening meal was a surprise, full of originality and flavor, and breakfast was delicious too. Katy and David have restored and furnished this charming place with obvious care, giving it a warm feel shaped by their own style. The rooms are comfortable, the decor is tasteful, and their kindness makes it easy to get away from stress and noise.

After a day out exploring, that comfortable bed was a treat. Our room at Le Cheval Bleu was spotless and beautifully decorated, and we were extremely happy with our two-night Easter weekend stay. David and Katy are such welcoming hosts, and they cook wonderfully. I'd highly recommend this bed and breakfast for its unbeatable value in the area. Doriane

I loved the mix of antique and contemporary touches in this rustic-style house. The hosts are friendly and welcoming while still being discreet, and the value for money is excellent. Breakfast was excellent too, and you can have dinner on-site in the evening, with tapas. Vézelay is 8 km away by car, and there are hiking opportunities nearby, with the GR long-distance hiking trail passing very close.
