The meal was okay, and our waitress was very apologetic, but we’ve eaten better for less elsewhere. We chose the €24 set menu because there weren’t any other options, and ordered Fillet Mignon. Pork medallions came instead, with no explanation. Paying turned into a bigger problem: they accepted only cash or cheques, and there was no sign at the entrance to warn us. We had to drive 20mins to another town and back just to pay. I wouldn’t recommend it. There are better restaurants 20 mins down the road.

The dining room is incredible, and the Chef is welcoming and always available. The local ingredients are turned into splendid dishes. It all feels so perfect you might not trust your senses. If you can’t remember the last time you found a real treasure, treat yourself to l'auberge de la méouge.
