We were there in December and had the place to ourselves. In the evenings, we warmed up by the grand fireplace. Bartres is a lovely little hamlet in the Pyrenees, about 10 minutes from Lourdes, and a nice spot for a few restful nights. The owners of La Ferme Laurens were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast each day was farm fresh or local fare.

The room and bathroom were good, and the hosts were friendly. We paid €53/night in Aug 2016. The €14/head table d'hôte was good value, home cooking.

Only 3km from Lourdes, so it's a good stop. But the accueil wasn't as good as you'd hope. In an area like this, the hosting should feel warmer and more thoughtful. The room smelled damp.

The fireplace deserves a special mention. The host was genuinely kind, and the location was quiet while still being very close to Lourdes and its activities. We had an excellent stay.
