We chose to stay near Verdon late in the evening, and Le Chardon turned out to be a wonderful surprise. The apartment is well located and has everything you need to cook. The shower was great, and everything was impeccably clean. Mark and Sandra were incredibly hospitable and proactive, and gave us a very warm welcome. Thank you so much. If you come to Brazil, please let me know. It’d be a pleasure to return the hospitality.

We had some lovely meals on the quiet terrace, watching the sunset. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, and some speak English. Parking is nearby. I’d recommend it.

An excellent meal and really good value for money. Our waiter was extremely friendly and spoke surprisingly good English. Absolutely delicious, and a place I’d gladly recommend!

The shaded outdoor seating has a great view, and there’s a good choice of food and desserts, all very good quality. Service was prompt, and every member of staff was friendly and helpful. We stopped here for lunch and would recommend it.

We had an excellent steak and fish and chips, made with great ingredients and cooked simply but really well. Le Chardon is right in the centre of Baudinard, with a beautiful view over the hills and valleys. It’s well worth stopping for a sunset drink, even if you don’t have dinner. We were thoroughly impressed and will definitely be back as soon as we can. Highly recommend!
