The telescope images are amazing. They were welcoming and tried hard to keep us involved, but translating the technical bits into English was difficult. With 25 people, the session felt a little pressured, and I think we understood about half of the information. If you speak fluent French and choose a quiet midweek session, this will be €30 well spent.

The sky was beautifully clear, with lots of constellations and the Milky Way visible. The hosts pointed them out pretty well, though only in French. You can see the same things for free by stopping at the roadside and using a free night sky guide AR app, instead of paying €30. The telescopes also left me feeling that modern computational astrology had set expectations too high for what these instruments can actually show. I could sense some passion from the hosts, but that didn't make the visit worth it for someone who doesn't understand French and has to rely on the scant English translation. Even from that, it didn't sound as if they were explaining anything especially novel beyond basic GCSE Physics level astronomy.

A pretty interesting visit. There are several telescopes to check out, and you can see the constellations. Book through their website, then read the email they send with tips.
