Breakfast was the highlight for us, fresh and delicious, and the chef was so kind and made sure we had what we needed. We were surprised to learn he was from Cuba. Our room was modern and very clean, with lovely views of the church and the grounds. It’s an incredible place to stay, and I highly recommend it.

The accommodation was roomy, comfortable, and quiet, and breakfast had a lovely range of choices. The people running this spectacular hotel were friendly and full of information about local places and events. Staff were helpful and accommodating, while mostly giving us space, which was a nice change from many places we’ve stayed.

Breakfast was lovely, and the main house was a great place to stay, though the pipes were noisy. Given how old the property is, that’s somewhat to be expected. The clean, newly refurbished room in the outhouse was very cozy, perhaps too small for two grown men, as it was for my father and me. Otherwise, a lovely stay.

The beautiful dining room made the shared breakfast a pleasure, and the personal attention added to the experience. It had a wonderful French feel. I’d definitely recommend this place.

The rooms are comfortable and modern, even though the outside has a rustic look. A nice place to stay in Bayeux.
