Villa Lara Hôtel

The front desk went out of their way to book us a dinner reservation, and we loved having the hotel bar for a nightcap. The staff were amazing and the whole experience was great. We haven’t had this level of service at any other hotel we’ve stayed at. It’s in a great location, and we’d definitely recommend it.

The location is fantastic, and the staff were wonderful, helpful, and resourceful. Thank you so much for a lovely stay. I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough.

Villa Lara’s location is amazing. D-Day tour companies leave from around the corner, and it’s a very short walk into Bayeux, with countless lovely shops and restaurants, plus the GORGEOUS Notre Dame de Bayeux. The town exceeded our expectations. Muriel, Julian, & Laura made the visit about much more than the hotel itself. Their dedication to customer service went far beyond what we’d expect even at a five-star hotel. The hotel and staff were impeccable, and we absolutely LOVED our stay. We couldn’t give a higher recommendation for the whole experience, and will recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thank you Murial, Julian, & Laura!!!! Rob & Laura Miller

The people here made us feel less like guests and more like cherished friends. The staff were gracious, attentive, and genuinely caring, and their warmth really stood out. The hotel itself is enchanting, with so much beauty and charm from the moment we arrived. Rooms are spacious and elegantly decorated, with a quiet grace that feels both indulgent and relaxing. The bathroom has luxurious touches and feels like a private retreat after a day out exploring. The lobby is warm and inviting, a lovely start to the stay. Breakfast was delightful, with fresh breads and other treats served in a dining room that feels refined yet intimate. For anyone visiting Bayeux, the hotel becomes part of the journey, a comfortable and elegant sanctuary that stays in your memory long after you leave.
