Hotel Les Genets was good value, with helpful staff, convenient access around Bayonne, and useful parking. They arranged automatic check-in without a hitch, so arriving was simple, and everyone I met was professional, upbeat, and willing to help. The room was relatively clean and well maintained, and the bed was comfortable after a long day. Its compact modular bathroom is part of the room, but was clean and had the needed amenities. There’s also an on-site restaurant for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, which is convenient and enjoyable without having to go out. Overall, the cleanliness, accessibility, service, and facilities made this a solid choice for the area.

I got in at 6pm and left at 6am the next morning. The reception woman was great and spoke perfect English. There’s a restaurant serving breakfast from 6am, though I didn’t go in. The double bed was comfy, the room was on the small side, and there was plenty of lighting. Watch the shower, it has no screen, so shut the door or the carpet will get soaked. Parking isn’t gated, but felt safe, and the Wi-Fi was really good. The location is great just off the A63, on the road from Spain to Bordeaux. I’d stay here again.

We picked this place for an overnight stop while driving through France toward Spain, and because they let our two pets stay in the room, which made the trip much easier. The property is a bit tired in places, but clean and welcoming. Reception staff were cheerful, friendly, and very helpful.

The rooms are spacious, very clean, and modern, with a fresh linen smell as soon as you walk in. The fittings and lighting have been thought through well. Lovely hotel, perfect for us, and we’ll choose it again over the other budget hotels in the area. Well done to the management team. Mr/Mrs Bright.

A nice little hotel with clean rooms and superb, authentic breakfast. The food is real and good, not industrial stuff. For the price, I’d genuinely recommend staying here.
