The place and house could be lovely, but they aren't maintained properly. The AC doesn't work, which makes sense with a centimeter of dust on the filter. There was a musty smell in the sleeping area, and the bathroom ventilation vent was very dirty. This is a general upkeep problem, not the cleaning lady's fault. We didn't feel able to cook with the two pans provided, and the kitchen utensils, dishes, and cutlery weren't suitable. The dishes were disgusting. I have photos, but I'm not posting them. The owner's only reply to my messages was, "If you're not happy, you can leave," which is convenient in the middle of summer in Corsica. When I explained what was wrong, he became threatening: "I'll come up here, you'll see!" Perhaps it was because I didn't want to pay the rental in cash instead of by bank transfer. Also, if it's chilly or pouring, there's nowhere to eat inside. The pool is cute, but shaded all day, very cold, and not maintained at all. It could be a nice place, but keep going, there are much better and cheaper options. Photos available if needed.

We stayed for a week, from September 26 to October 3, 2025, and paid full price. On arrival, the owner told us there was an electrical problem, which meant the pool heating didn't work, the skylight couldn't be opened, and the garden lights were out. The pool issue wasn't fixed until the last day, despite a lot of effort. After several messages about the garden lighting, a portable lamp arrived only after three days. The pots and pans need replacing. Apparently these electrical issues had been known for quite some time. If we'd been told beforehand, another solution could have been arranged. We weren't even asked whether we'd like a discount.

The landlord was attentive and easygoing, and the place was fantastic. The electrical setup and layout are thoughtfully done, with everything you need. The bathroom was hygienic and clean, thanks to the excellent interior design.
