La Chambre d'Hote de Mano - Centre-ville de Bayonne

We loved the location in the Saint-Esprit neighborhood. The bridge is a minute away, and from there it's only five minutes to Grand Bayonne and Petit Bayonne. Saint-Esprit is quiet, with lots of restaurants and cafes worth trying, and there's a Carrefour Express a minute away. Since nearby parking is all paid, we found Belfort the best option, at around €43 for two full days. One little tip: the key box is on the left side, quite low down behind a small tree. Mano made us feel at home and was always happy to help, including with suggestions for bars and restaurants nearby. The house is lovely, and though it's on the third floor, there's an elevator. Our room was spacious and cozy, with a comfortable bed, heating, towels, pillows, blankets, and all the other essentials. The bathroom had two sinks and a shower, with the toilet in a separate room. The decor has thoughtful touches, too, including a tea set with cups, a teapot and everything needed to make coffee or tea.

I stay here regularly, and Mano always makes me feel as welcome as on my very first visit. He's such a kind host. The place deserves far more than five stars, and I recommend it a thousand times over. See you soon!
