The staff were so kind when our camper van battery gave us trouble. They even called a nearby battery shop for us, which we really appreciated. We were there for a few days in early June and found the facilities excellent, with tasty pizzas at the bar and a very handy system for ordering bread and pastries. The site is close to the medieval village and the Dordogne River, and made an easy cycling base for lovely villages like Carennac and Argentat sur Dordogne. Everyone was friendly and spoke very good English.

Walking into Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne from the campsite was easy, and we loved exploring its old streets, abbey and riverside chapel. Our river pitch was the real highlight, with beautiful views over the Dordogne and a peaceful little corner of nature. It costs extra, but we'd ask for one again. The facilities were modern and clean, and the site's setting on a small river island made for a wonderful holiday. We absolutely loved our stay at Camping Huttopia Beaulieu sur Dordogne.

We only stopped for one night on our way back north through France, and wished we could have stayed longer. The pool was lovely, everything was clean and peaceful, and the staff were really kind and attentive. Margaux deserves a special mention for being so organized and helpful, and for making sure our kids got to enjoy the Huttopia sticker books.

The spacious pitches and modern facilities made this one of the best campsites we've stayed at, and the welcome from the friendly, helpful staff made it even better. It's right beside the Dordogne, so the views are beautiful and the atmosphere is peaceful. We enjoyed the chance to relax by the water, explore Beaulieu, and get outside. The location really sets the campsite apart. We can't wait to come back and would happily recommend it for a memorable camping stay.
