We found a real gem at a reasonable price, with good parking and an excellent breakfast. The B&B is charming and peaceful, not far from the lake. Our room was very comfortable and well furnished, with everything we needed, including tea and coffee facilities and WiFi. There’s also a lounge with a TV where you can unwind. The English hosts were friendly and welcoming.

Lake Vassivière is nearby and worth exploring. This gîte felt like a little corner of paradise, about an hour from Limoges, and would be ideal for a romantic weekend. The room was comfortable, with a lovely English touch in the decor. Antonia was warm and considerate while also giving us space, which we really appreciated.
