The owners were very welcoming, and breakfast was super. We spent one night in March in the Cave Bedroom and loved the cozy, comfortable feel. The bed was really comfortable, and the shower room was excellent. There was also an entrance and dining area with tea and coffee making facilities and a microwave. A fabulous experience, I can't recommend it highly enough.
The cottage was well equipped, and the owners were so kind and welcoming. Breakfast was AMAZING. We'll definitely stay again!
Good breakfasts and a nice hotel.
One thing to plan for if you're a family of two with teenage children: you'll need to sleep in the shared room provided in the room you reserved, upstairs in the main house. Alain, the manager, is welcoming and attentive. The atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly, and it's easy to meet people if you like spending time with others. Breakfast is quite good, with extra options depending on Alain's availability, sometimes fresh cheese or eggs. You can order a burger if you'd like to eat in, or use the sheltered area at the top of the property. There's also a lovely swimming pool.
The gîte is really well located, close to the main places of interest. We felt very comfortable there, almost at home. The hosts clearly love their property and their work, and they welcomed us warmly. Breakfast was on the level of a hotel buffet, with plenty to choose from. I recommend it.
