Le Gîte 24

The winter night in the jacuzzi was fantastic, and the breakfast was divine and plentiful. We didn't try dinner, but the Liège syrup at breakfast was a great discovery. Thierry and Valérie greeted us in their living room with a complimentary drink, and both they and their animals were very warm. The cave room was magnificent for a romantic getaway in Poitou. We hope to come back with friends for billiards and to try Valérie's cooking. It's very close to Futuroscope and Poitiers.

The hostess cooks wonderfully, from appetizers and dinner through to dessert and breakfast. We had such a lovely time in the beautiful house, especially in the sublime cave room: it was quiet, the bedding was great, and the decor was tasteful. The jacuzzi is a real bonus. The place feels magical, the hosts are wonderful, and the welcome was incredible. A superb address to remember, highly recommended!

The warm welcome from the Belgian hosts, and their two dogs we wanted to take home, really makes this place special. We chatted by the fireplace in the cozy lounge, then played a great board game we discovered there. Our three teenagers, aged 13, 18, and 21, even put down their phones for it! Breakfasts were hearty and delicious. There's a jacuzzi in a cave, and in summer there's also a heated pool, though we couldn't try it in the freezing weather. The cave room was perfectly equipped, and other family rooms are available. There's a heated cave “fun room” with a pool table, darts, and an arcade machine. We couldn't get past level 1 of Pac-Man! If you're not keen on the hotels at Futuroscope and want somewhere unusual and welcoming for a relaxing break, contact Gîte 24. Futuroscope is only 10-12 minutes away by car. We had a fantastic stay.

Valérie and Thierry are wonderful hosts who made our stay really enjoyable. The bedding was very comfortable, and both breakfast and the meals were superb. We also received a very warm welcome and found the location exceptional, with top-quality service. I highly recommend stopping by!
