Domaine De Bellevue

The room was functional, but plain and lacking care. The breakfast was decent, though the room and house were unheated. We weren't expected, there was no welcome, and getting in touch was almost impossible. It's a shame, given how lovely the estate is. Just passable.

The estate is majestic, and the welcome was lovely and charming, but I expected more for the price. Breakfast was too simple for almost €10 and didn't suit the setting. At a place that organizes zen retreats, I expected more organic options, and homemade jam with figs from the garden would have been nice. The spacious rooms need more attention, with no blackout curtains or shutters, and significant renovations are needed. Please check the shower soap in the Figuier room and clean the shared shower more often. Thank you for the welcome. I felt the value for money needs improvement, which is a shame when the location has so much potential.

The lawns hadn't been mowed the day before the wedding, and the building and balustrades need refreshing. There's a lack of upkeep across the estate. Such a shame, because it would be even more beautiful with better care.

The rooms were comfortable, even if a bit small. There was no reception, the hotel concept felt somewhat outdated, and the grounds weren't well maintained. A shame.
