It looks like the place has changed hands, and from what I can tell from reviews here and elsewhere, things haven't improved. Such a shame. Between 1986 and 1990, Le Mas de la Bertrande was one of the region's best restaurants. Mr. Bertrand gave guests an extraordinary welcome, the kind you rarely found elsewhere. Those memories have stayed with me, and I wanted to pay tribute to the restaurant, though it seems rather neglected now. Sniff...
