Didier and Agnès were very charming and always ready to help, and the welcome was warm. The place is idyllic and has all the comforts needed for a wonderful stay. We highly recommend it.

The pool is a real highlight, and with just one other gîte and the owners' home on the property, it feels almost private. We were warmly welcomed, and the accommodation has more space than the Booking photos suggest. It’s equipped with air conditioning and everything we needed. Agnès is happy to share ideas for things to do nearby.

I spent four months in this cottage, as the lease confirms, and the only real plus was being close to nature. The place is badly insulated, especially from noise coming from the owner's attached workshop or car garage. Engines were often revved for long stretches during the day, sometimes early in the morning or late at night, and there was hammering too. I could even hear the radio through the thin wall while lying in bed. The sleeping setup is two single beds pushed together under one fitted sheet, so comfort as a couple is pretty average. Still, it beats the ancient, very uncomfortable sofa. The shower swings between freezing cold and extremely hot, so watch out for burns. There were also several times when the owner burned garden waste beside the clothesline, even though it's forbidden, and smoke got on my laundry. It happened to me and other tenants, and we never understood why. I won't go into every other issue, the list is too long. I've heard about incidents with other tenants too, but didn't witness them myself, so I can't speak to those. For a short tourist stay at full price, I assume and hope you'll be looked after and have a pleasant visit without noticing these problems. If you're there as a stopgap in the off-season, you may have some unpleasant surprises.
