The room was spotless and modern, with a really comfortable bed, and I liked unwinding on the rooftop terrace after exploring. We were welcomed by staff who were warm, professional, and happy to offer directions and recommendations. ALFRED HOTELS – Monaco is an easy walk from Monaco and Monte-Carlo, and staying here was good value compared with being inside the principality. I’d happily return and recommend it.

The rooftop was such a nice extra. The place felt bright and fresh, and our room was really welcoming and comfortable. The staff were amazing too, and they gave us vouchers for free welcome drinks. I only wish we’d stayed longer.

We had dinner there and both the food and service were exceptional. The rooms were bright and clean, and every staff member we met was helpful and very friendly. This was my third stay at the Alfred hotel in the past year, this time with my family, and I’ll definitely be back.

There were two staff members who made a real difference for me. I think one was Moses, a younger French man who was athletic and spoke English and French fairly well. He kindly helped me move to a better room and was very attentive. Fatima also stood out for her warm smile, grace, and care. The cleaning team was good too. They only came in when I asked for a room change, so they weren’t intrusive. The hotel is in Beaulesoleil, right on the Monaco border, rather than in Monaco itself. To get into the city, you can walk behind the hotel and end up by the train station. Another route is to face the hotel, take the stairs beside the cafe, then turn sharply left at the bottom, though that takes longer. I gave four stars because one staff member profiled me when I arrived, if you know what I mean. There were also noise issues: nearby construction, soccer games from the field, and even the person upstairs using the restroom, not just the pipes. Some rooms can smell funny from the drains, which is why I asked to change rooms. The room had a TV, a thoughtful welcome note, a shopping tote, clean towels, blackout curtains, and warm shower water. Breakfast is paid, and it seemed to be a social spot for guests. You can arrange a private taxi at reception. I paid somewhere around 130-180 euros to get to the airport, and the drivers arrived in suits and ties.
