The best part was the airport access: it was about 15 minutes away, and an Uber cost £12-£15, while the black cab outside the airport was £36. The rest was awful. The hotel felt old and run down, smelled bad, and was dirty, with spill marks across the floor. We killed two cockroaches we found on the bed. There were black stains on the toilet and cracks in the bathroom floor. We had breakfast the first morning without prebooking. The next morning, my daughter and I were told we couldn't buy it because we hadn't booked ahead. While we waited for an Uber to the airport, another couple came down and were allowed to buy breakfast without prebooking. There’s no lift, yet I was put on the second floor even though I use a crutch and have mobility problems. The hotel is also right next to a cemetery.

The staff were really nice and helpful, and the location is great, but the hotel showed no care for quality control. I came from London for one night on the way to Disney Land, and this was by far the dirtiest, most disgusting hotel I've ever stayed in. I have photos of how dirty it was. Nails were sticking out of the wall from floor level up to my height, and I'm 6ft. My 11 month old son played with a strip of wood in the corner that also had nails sticking out, and one nearly pierced his skin. I requested a full refund and asked for a manager to contact me. Several days later, nobody had got in touch. I gave them a chance, but they clearly don't want to make things right after embarrassing themselves. It was dirty, filthy, dangerous, horrible. I never complain, but the family room was in such a bad state that I'll report it to the health and safety authorities and show them my photos within 48 hours. I definitely would not advise anyone to stay here.

We had a confirmed booking through Booking.com and arrived late at night. Although I showed the receptionist proof that the agreed payment had already been taken from my account, he insisted on charging us again. He kept pushing the card device toward my phone and wouldn't listen when I asked him to explain what was happening or find a solution. He was extremely rude and uncooperative. Then he threw us out. We were left on the street in the middle of the night with four young children and a baby. The hotel has kept the money it charged, and I'm still disputing the charge and trying to get a refund. Unbelievable disgrace and rudeness. Never again!

The air conditioning looked old and didn't work, and the hair dryer was broken, so I had to ask the front desk for another one. There was also a huge spider in the shower area, and the bathroom itself was awful. Worst hotel ever. The quality was below a motel and it wasn't even worth one star.
