Le Patio - Vallee d'Aspe

We stayed at Le Patio in the middle of winter and were warm enough. The bathroom was spacious, and we found the accommodation clean with basic amenities. Its location is handy, with parking, little shops, and hiking trails nearby. The common areas are lovely and comfortable, with a small view of the terrace. A few things could be better: there’s no seating area or armchairs, the bed was too firm, the broom had no dustpan, and there wasn’t enough storage.

We spent a lot of time on the terrace of our first-floor apartment, enjoying the fantastic mountain view. The village has what you need, including a bakery and a small organic market right next door. It’s also a great base for hiking and biking. The hostess was very nice, and we’d love to come back.

The cottage is comfortable, charming, and very well maintained, and we were quite taken with the place. Booking with the owner was easy, and she was friendly and efficient. We’ll be back.

Apartment #2 was comfortable and nicely decorated, and the entrance to the building is lovely. The main drawback was the bedroom window facing the main street and a bar across from it. People sat outside and were very noisy. The soundproofing could be better.
