We spent two nights here during our Loire à Vélo break, and the island walk was a real highlight. Behuard is extraordinary, and this is a lovely place to stay. Armelle was a wonderful host, and we especially appreciated the excellent meals made with all our food restrictions in mind. Such a peaceful place to stay and eat. Thank you!

Our room had everything we needed and felt like home. Armelle and Charles were warm and attentive throughout our four nights, without ever intruding. We loved the meals, from breakfast on the terrace each day to the fabulous dinner on our last evening. Armelle is a talented chef, using quality local ingredients to make delicious food. We were very glad to find this lovely Chambres d"hotel/restaurant, and hope to return soon. Thank you both for a wonderful stay.

A lovely summer lunch, with a thoughtful, well-balanced menu. Everything was homemade, and the food was light while still leaving delicious flavors behind. Three courses cost €39. To get there, drive onto the little island, park under the trees, then walk about 200m through a charming, very old village. Madame le Chef is very talented.

The island of Behuard is well worth the trip. Reservations are recommended since the chef prepares the meals daily, though we arrived without one for lunch and were warmly welcomed. The food and atmosphere were fantastic. Highly recommend.
