Hotel La Flambée

We really enjoyed our 3-night stay. The host, staff, and beautiful dog were all very welcoming, and breakfast each morning was lovely. It’s such a beautiful setting. Hopefully the restaurant will open again soon for dinner.

That cool, quiet entrance hall was a welcome sight after our long, hot drive. The hotel sits in spacious, well-kept gardens that still feel a little wild, and the rooms are modest but comfortable. There’s a good-sized pool for warm days and a bar with a touch of jazz for a late drink. The staff were friendly and professional. The restaurant wasn’t open for dinner, but breakfast was a fine continental spread. We’d happily visit again.

Our 18-month-old daughter loved watching the goats, pigs, horse, dogs, and cats around the hotel. We had a delightful dinner on the restaurant terrace, and the room was spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly, as were the other hotel and restaurant guests. A great experience.

The pool was clean and good, and we enjoyed a very good dinner at the restaurant. The garden is large and lovely, and the rooms are nice and comfortable, though it’s a shame they don’t have air conditioning. We spent three lovely days here. We also stayed at the Flambèe hotel three years ago, and I’m sure we’ll come back next time. It’s pet-friendly, too, with a very friendly big dog.
