We booked that morning for the night and were able to arrive even though the hosts weren’t there. The rooms were very comfortable, and we really appreciated our stop. We got to meet our host over breakfast the next morning and have a chat. Breakfast was plentiful and good. Highly recommend.

The pool seemed clean and was useful for cooling off, but little else about our 11-day stay was good value. The hosts were hard to approach and often unavailable. Breakfast was the same every day: pancakes, cheese, and fruit. Our room was grubby and wasn’t cleaned once during the stay. The sheets and towels weren’t changed either. The grounds were so overgrown and neglected that they weren’t usable, and getting to breakfast meant wading through bushes. The dog had left a mess by the pool. There was a covered table outside, but its filthy covering and the overgrowth made that unusable too. The photos must be quite old. I’ve stayed at the best B&B in Bergerac, and this is apparently ranked second, but the gap between them is enormous. The Trades Description Act should apply here. I can’t understand how anyone rates it above one star.

The place I was most excited about when booking for my friend’s 40th birthday road trip lived up to every expectation. The accommodations were amazing, and everyone was so nice. They made sure we had everything we could want, helped arrange a taxi into Bergerac city center, and served us the most spectacular meals. Thanks so much for helping us make such great memories. We’ll be back!

The staff were friendly, and breakfast in the garden was nice, though a little limited. It was quiet and peaceful, but you need a car to get into Bergerac. We had the attic room, which was pretty and clean, with a comfortable bed, but there was little headroom and we had to duck under the beam. The AC struggled with the heat and was really noisy, though that might not matter outside summer.

Anne was a great host and clearly enjoyed making sure we had a good stay. Breakfast was exceptional, with lots of homemade things, and the mint tea made with mint from the garden was a real treat. We stayed in the loft room Acacias. It was spotless and cozy, though there were lots of low beams. The room had a big tub but no shower, and we would have preferred one. An enjoyable stay, and I recommend Anne’s hospitality.
