We booked at short notice in lovely Bergues and were able to check in a bit early because we arrived ahead of schedule. The building has been restored beautifully, and the kitchen area and breakfast were lovely. Our room was nice, though a little quirky: the toilet was across the hall, the shower was behind the bed with a glass screen, and the sink was in a wardrobe. There's free parking outside, and it's a good place to stay.

We found a room here at very short notice and got a very friendly welcome from the hostess. She offered us a great apartment, furnished in a modern and tasteful way. Highly recommended. Breakfast was self-catering, with a stocked fridge in the shared kitchen and fresh baguette.

We felt at home right away at Chambres Berguoises, thanks to Philippine's attentive welcome. She's simple, kind and professional, and you can tell she cares about her guests enjoying their stay. The house is welcoming, carefully decorated, and thoughtfully set up. We especially liked the relaxing feel and the mix of old-world charm and contemporary touches. Our room was immaculate, clean and comfortable, with high-quality bedding. Having a private bathroom was a real bonus. The location is ideal, right in the heart of Bergues, steps from the centre, in a calm and charming setting. Breakfast was generous and delicious, and Philippine was very accommodating about our arrival and departure times. Our getaway to the region became a wonderful memory. I'd wholeheartedly recommend Chambres Berguoises to anyone wanting to explore the region in comfort and a friendly atmosphere. And if you go, don't hesitate to say you're coming from me. You'll be in very good hands!
