There was no one at reception, and the online check-in link led to a page that didn’t exist. The dates on the booking page were wrong, which cost us an extra €60. In the room, the bathroom light didn’t work and the sheets were damaged. Don’t book.

Everything was pleasant. The room and bathroom were clean, and all three beds for our family had been neatly prepared. Having electric vehicle charging stations was a big bonus.

We found this a comfortable hotel for a road trip through Europe. I drive an electric car, so having chargers in the hotel car park was especially practical.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. It’s very old, both the building and the rooms, and it’s time for it to close and be renovated. I was given a free breakfast voucher, but it covered just one person rather than my whole family staying in the room, which seemed very strange.

The room was clean, check-in was easy, and there’s free parking on site. The staff were very friendly, so it’s a good budget option in a beautiful city. The only issue was a slight cigarette smell in the room, which could put some people off.
