The lavender room was spotless, and breakfast out on the terrace was lovely. Alain's homemade jams were a treat, especially the pineapple kiwi one. And of course, there's the queen of the place... Our short stay was wonderfully pleasant!

Breakfast was delicious, with fresh local products, and the owners were welcoming and happy to suggest things to see nearby. In the village of Bessan, this bed and breakfast has a peaceful, holiday feel. The couple's townhouse dates from the 15th-16th century.

The French breakfast was generous, with cheeses, homemade jam, pastries, fresh orange juice, fruit, and plenty more. Our room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. The couple who own this gem were welcoming and gave us great ideas for things to do, so we'd definitely like to return. The house is a real standout, with its original charm preserved through the renovation. Its original building dates to the 12th century, so accessibility for people with disabilities isn't something to expect.

The owners are warm and welcoming, and their knowledge of the region made the stay really pleasant. We had a spacious, comfortable room with good equipment, and breakfast was hearty, served in a leafy setting. The historic house has a lovely charm, a real oasis of calm. We'd gladly return. L'Orée du Pin deserves its 5 stars.
