We found a lovely lunch stop by the lake. The plat du jour was fresh and really good value, with potato salad to start, then a tasty goat cheese salad and dessert. I’ll keep this place in mind for another stopover.

We parked the motorhome beside the lake for the night and went into the pub for a late beer. The hosts were so welcoming, and even opened the kitchen again to make us something to eat. Really lovely of them. We’ll definitely come back.

We spotted a pub sign while stopping overnight by the lake and decided to check it out. So glad we did. The food was fab, and the English staff were really nice. Highly recommend.

The room was very spacious and comfortable, and breakfast came with a lovely view over the lake. We stayed one night with our daughter a few weeks ago. The owner was easy to talk to and very accommodating when we arrived late. We’d strongly recommend it.

We loved the room and the warm hospitality. The host made burgers for us to take to the lake for a picnic, and even put our cool blocks in the freezer so our food would stay cold as we continued on to a campsite. After a hot day in the car, it was great that we and our dog could cool off in the lake, just 50 m from the hotel. A perfect little pet-friendly place!
