The service was exceptionally good. The owner speaks English very well, but still let me have a go at speaking French. There's also an EV charger. This is a brilliant B&B, with large rooms, a fridge, outdoor seating and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was a nice continental spread, with several kinds of bread and two types of jam.

Our toddler had a great time running around and playing in the large, private garden, a quiet and lovely space. The mornings started well too, with a fantastic breakfast and fresh, delicious options. Le Pavé d'Hôtes was also ideally placed for exploring the beautiful Route du Cidre, and the center of charming Beuvron-en-Auge was an easy walk away. We found some excellent places for dinner in the village, so we didn't have to drive in the evenings. Sophie’s warm hospitality made us feel truly welcome. Our stay at Le Pavé d'Hôtes was a wonderful highlight of the trip, with a lovely mix of comfort, charm and convenience. We'd love to return.

We found a lovely, almost secret four mile walk on AllTrails to a little 12th century chapel. Beuvron en Auge itself is quaint and a welcome break from the cities. The restaurants fill up, so I'd recommend booking ahead. Sophie was kind and attentive, and her breakfast was wonderful. The rooms were spacious too.

Our ground floor room opened straight onto the garden. It was quiet, clean and nicely decorated, with a comfortable bed and good pillows, and the town centre was only a two minute stroll away. The hostess was very friendly and pleasant. We didn't eat at the restaurant because it was too expensive for us, and we hadn't booked anywhere in town either. That was a big mistake, since every restaurant was full. Breakfast was a good standard continental meal.

A peaceful night's sleep on a great mattress in a beautiful room. The owner was kind and knowledgeable, and breakfast was delightful. A perfect stay, highly recommended 🥰
