Bienvenue chez nous Bleurville

The rooms were spotless and set up with practical furnishings, and the place itself was lovely, peaceful, and really warm. After Janine and Ronald welcomed us, we had a quick look around our room, got the kids settled, then went for a swim and shared drinks with J&R and two other guests. Such a fun evening. The kids were still talking about breakfast the next morning, calling it the best of the holiday. We were stopping overnight on our way back from Spain, so the stay was much too short. We'd happily come back!

We ended up heading home Saturday after getting sick on Friday, so we didn't get to do much that day. Before that, though, we had a lovely few days. This was another last-minute plan: we called Monday afternoon and arrived Tuesday, staying through Saturday. Janine and Ronald gave us a warm welcome and showed us around the B&B and the area, so we knew where everything was. There was a freshly made cup of coffee waiting downstairs when we came back from our room, along with coffee for the other guests. We had a delicious dinner that evening, beautifully prepared. Compliments to the chef again! On Wednesday and Thursday we explored quite a bit: a candy factory, a glassblowing workshop, waterfalls, and a pleasant walk while looking for a cave we never found. Maybe it was hidden underground. We also wandered around Vittel and enjoyed its lovely park and a good meal there. Highly recommended. Hugo, the brown Labrador, is such a sweetheart. He'll come say hello, then settle into a cool spot under the sofa. The pool was lovely in the heat, too. Inside, the rooms were clean and beautifully decorated, and the bed was really comfortable. Janine was attentive and checked whether we needed anything, while both hosts were super friendly and always willing to help. Ronald cooks very well if you choose to have dinner with them. It felt cozy, and we were well looked after at the B&B.

We had a wonderful time with friends. Ronald and Janine gave us a warm welcome and both did more than expected to make the stay enjoyable. The rooms were clean and tastefully decorated. Highly recommended!
