The location made it easy to get to the Château and historic center on foot, just a short walk away. Breakfast was fresh and generous, served in a pleasant setting. I only spent one night at the Best Western in Blois, but it was a flawless stay. The staff were welcoming, professional and attentive from the start. Check-in was easy and friendly, and they gave me useful tips for exploring town. My room was spotless, modern and comfortable, with everything I needed for a restful night. The bed was especially cozy, it was quiet enough for deep sleep, and the bathroom was immaculate and well equipped. I wish I could’ve stayed longer. I’d happily return or recommend it to anyone visiting Blois. Excellent value, great service and a memorable stay. Thank you!

The decor was nice, but we didn’t stay long in the morning. The shower door wouldn’t stay shut, and there was barely enough hot water for two. When we arrived, the woman at the counter was upstairs, and our key card didn’t work because she’d given us the wrong room number. The hotel is next to a train station, with paid overnight parking there.

The night shift manager on 22.8.2017 was the nicest, most professional hotel pro I’ve met. I hope his managers see this. He’s undervalued and deserves a raise and a promotion! The hotel has a clean, modern design. At least the room we got, booked via kayak, felt worth 4 stars rather than 3. I booked expecting and hoping that might be the case because of the great reviews, and I’m happy I was right.

We really enjoyed stopping in Blois while exploring the highlights of the Loire Valley and visiting various Chateaus. The hotel is centrally located and well worth the expense. Staff were helpful and focused on making our stay pleasant. Their suggestions for exploring the area and finding dinner were well received and turned out to be great recommendations. Breakfast in the AM was adequate and typical of European cuisine, a good start for travelers. Parking around the hotel is limited, but free overnight until 9:00 AM.
10/10
We felt safe knowing someone was at reception 24/7. The kind staff seemed willing to do anything to please customers, and the rooms were nicely decorated and clean, with good beds that weren’t too soft, just how we like them. Parking, bike rental, restaurants, the city center and train station are all nearby.
