We were sorry to leave. Julia, Sygma (dog), and Snoopy (cat) were such lovely hosts. The setting is beautiful and completely peaceful, with private grounds, extensive gardens, a swimming pool, and secure private parking.

We had a great three-night stay, and our host really went out of her way to make it memorable. Breakfast was lovely, served either outdoors on the terrace or in the dining room depending on the weather. The gardens are peaceful, and the pool is a nice size. Our room was spacious and well furnished, with an air conditioning unit available if needed. We'd love to come back soon.

We enjoyed our stay, though cycling to town takes some effort if hills are a problem. We got a taxi into Blois and walked back, which took about 35 minutes. The place is quiet, the owner is welcoming, and the private pool is a real treat after a day on the bike. Breakfast was fantastic. It's a lovely getaway about 3 km from the centre.

Julia was the highlight for us. She goes out of her way to make the stay pleasant, with helpful suggestions for trips and restaurants in Blois and nearby. The hideaway is charming and very peaceful, with a refreshing pool and a really yummy breakfast. My husband and our two children loved it too. A hidden gem in beautiful Blois!
