Logis Hotel Louise De Savoie

The bakery is only about 50 steps away, and the old town is a 10-minute walk. The station is even closer, just a minute away, but the hotel is still comfortable and quiet. The staff were lovely. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely one-night stay. Even right beside the train station, the hotel was extraordinarily quiet, with no street noise reaching our room. It was simple, nicely finished, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was good value, with excellent croissants and baguettes, though I would have liked eggs too. The staff were very friendly, especially the cleaners and waitresses, even with the breakfast room full.

The hotel is ideally placed just across the street from the train station. Before our stay, the friendly staff were quick to offer advice about the area and cycling shops, and mentioned that Blois and the surrounding châteaus have excellent summer views. When we checked out late, they were happy to help with our baggage too. We had a wonderful stay.

Parking isn't always free, so check with the front desk. Breakfast can be added for about €8 per person. The staff at Hotel Louise de Savoie were spectacular and went out of their way to make us comfortable, even though we hadn't expected that level of service for the room price. The young woman at reception was an absolute delight to talk to. I'm six months pregnant and find long flights of stairs difficult, so they arranged a room on the first floor. There's no kettle in the room, but if you ask, they'll lend you one with a smile, and you just return it later. For a small place, they make up for what they don't have with their friendly service. It's a homely, sweet hotel, and we hope to come back.
