Campanile PRIME - Paris Bobigny

The hotel is in terrible shape, and the service is rude and inefficient. We asked for air conditioners, but none ever arrived, and nobody cleaned our room.

We spent 10 days at Campanile in bobigny, Paris, and it didn't really live up to its family-friendly image. It might be fine for a short visit or a solo traveler, but I wouldn't recommend it for families or longer stays. The rooms had no coffee machine, fridge, iron, or microwave. In the bathroom there was only a 3-in-1 soap dispenser, where separate soap and shampoo should be standard. One day the towels were old and worn, with some torn; I have photos of them. The lobby had no coffee machine or easy-to-use water dispenser either. The vending machine was the only option, and getting water from the dispenser inside meant asking staff for access. Most staff were okay, but a few weren't friendly. Around midnight one night, I asked a bald male staff member if I could fill water from the dispenser. He rudely told me to buy it at the vending machine. When I said the hotel didn't feel friendly, he ignored me. Not everyone was rude, but those encounters affected our stay.

The restaurant closes on weekends, and the hotel is far from Paris, so you'll need public transportation. Paris seems to be in the name only.

The rooms were in good condition, and for the price the hotel is worth it. The beds were a little uncomfortable, but still okay for what I paid. Breakfast wasn't a good deal as an extra charge, and the selection wasn't good. If it's included in a package, fine. I'd visit again, but wouldn't pay extra for breakfast when there are so many cafes in France for a nice morning meal.
