Yanis gave us great service. He went looking for everything we asked for and brought it to us. We had a great experience at this hotel!

The location felt sketchy, including the station, even though the metro is only a five-minute walk away. At breakfast there was almost no food, and every table had dirty plates. The TV and air conditioning didn't work. The bathroom had plumbing problems, a smell, and little spots of mold in the shower corners. The windows were very outdated, wouldn't close fully, and wouldn't stay open on their own. The bed's headrest was metal. I checked in online hoping for a quick arrival, but our room wasn't ready. We were told to wait an hour, then after some discussion they gave us a room 30 minutes later than it was supposed to be ready.

Staff were pleasant and always ready to help. The room was comfortable and had enough space, as you'd expect from the Ibis brand. Although the hotel is near a main road, it was quiet. It's about 10 minutes from the nearest Metro station, so fairly convenient. Breakfast was included, but the selection could have been better. Flavoured yoghurt and perhaps some hot food would have been welcome.

The team were friendly and spoke English. Our room was small, as expected, but functional, with a comfortable bed and interesting industrial-style decor. The air conditioning was cold. There was no fridge or kettle in the room, though the foyer had a microwave, kettle, and water dispenser. Booking was easy. The hotel is on a busy street and has free secure parking behind a security gate. If you walk in, you need an entry code. The bus, tram, and metro are nearby, and the canal is a short walk away.
