We spent four unforgettable days here, thanks to hosts like Fabienne, who make you wish you met more people like them. She was always available, gave us hiking tips for routes off the beaten track, and made delicious breakfasts and dinner. Thank you, and see you soon.

The grounds around the house looked neglected, and the welcome was absent, even aggressive. The hosts seemed overwhelmed, were unfriendly, and weren't available. The dogs were the most welcoming ones there. Fabienne's cooking was good, but overpriced, just like the stay as a whole. Such a sad rip-off. We had been looking forward to this stop, so what a disappointment.

In just five minutes, the atmosphere had won me over. The property is only minutes from Bonifacio, and Fabienne really makes the difference: friendly, lively, and attentive to what guests need. Breakfast was top-notch.

I stayed several nights and never regretted choosing this place. It felt cozy, almost like being at my grandmother's house, far from the impersonal feel of hotel chains, though I don't mean that as a criticism of hotels. Just to be clear, this is a guesthouse, not a hotel. You stay in a wing of the family home, with beautiful family furniture in the rooms. You'll hear crickets, the family dogs, and sheep bells. There's no TV in the room or Wi-Fi, and no meals at bedtime. What you do get is real peace and quiet, lovely people, and an authentic, welcoming charm.
