The view when you wake up is incredible, looking out to Cavallo Lavezzi Island and Sardinia. This lovely place is tucked into the Mediterranean scrub, where you can enjoy nature, quiet and relaxation. The owners are very kind, and the staff are welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is excellent and plentiful, and the room has all the comforts, including a mini-fridge, kettle and cups. It’s well placed too, about 10 minutes from Bonifacio and 25 minutes from Porto Vecchio. Over a week we visited the prettiest beaches in southern Corsica, from Santa Giulia to Roccapina. Truly stunning, and highly recommended.

The owner was friendly and discreet, but available whenever we needed help. Breakfast by the pool was pleasant, simple and sufficient. There’s no restaurant, which would be a useful addition since there aren’t many nearby. The rooms are basic but comfortable, though the thin walls let sound through. The setting is quiet, tucked into the maquis away from the road, and there are lovely sea views from the rooms and around the pool and jacuzzi.
