Maison Mahana

The place and the staff are nice, but the facilities could be more complete, with showers or bathrooms in common areas and minibars in the rooms. Breakfast is included, though coffee with milk costs an extra 2 euros per coffee, and half a glass of fresh orange juice is another 7 euros.

The bedding was exceptional, and the property itself is truly beautiful, with careful attention to detail. We had a very warm welcome and loved the magnificent setting, just minutes from the center of Bonifacio. An excellent stay at Maison Mahana. We highly recommend it.

The quiet setting makes it easy to explore Bonifacio and the nearby beaches, then come back somewhere peaceful. Bonif Kayak is only about a 10-minute drive away for trips on a beautiful lagoon. We felt at home at Maison Mahana, with a little extra comfort. The team was discreet but always there when needed, and had great restaurant tips. Breakfast, made with fresh local products, was a lovely start to the day. The decor is warm and simple, and everything feels thoughtfully done. A real little haven. Thanks for an unforgettable stay. We loved ending the day in such a peaceful place, with Bonifacio only five minutes away. Lydia and Jessyca were so welcoming and gave us great advice on places to see around the island. We visited the turquoise waters at Petit Sperone, the wild Lavezzi Islands archipelago, hiked along Bonifacio’s cliffs and on the Campu Romanilu trail, and saw the King of Aragon's Staircase and the citadel’s narrow streets. Maison Mahana made a great base for exploring southern Corsica, with quiet evenings to come back to. An unforgettable stay.
