Sylvie was such a warm, responsive host. We felt welcome right away. We stayed five nights in mid-September at Villa Simone (at villa Madra), which was clean, comfortable, and beautifully presented. It's a pretty, quiet place with mountain views. The clean, well-maintained heated salt water pool was a treat, with lots of sun loungers. We also made good use of the BBQ and outdoor dining area. Breakfast arrived each morning, with delicious warm pastries, fresh orange juice, fruit, jam, and coffee. The Bonifacio coastline is amazing for long walks and hikes, though some of the paths are rocky and steep, so bring good walking shoes. There are plenty of good restaurants in Bonifacio, and the stunning Citadel is well worth a visit. It's a bit of an uphill walk, or you can take the little train. At the top, you'll find more restaurants and shops, plus magnificent coastal views. Don't miss Saint Antoine beach either. It's quiet, with nice sand and water so clear you can see the fish. Getting there involves a bit of a scramble, so wear sturdy shoes. We loved spending our honeymoon here and would definitely come back. Thank you, Sylvie 😊

Being just outside Bonifacio centre made it easy to come and go, and the mountain views were incredible. We could watch the sunset and stars from our room at night. We stayed two nights in September, and the spacious, modern villa was clean and had everything we could need. The breakfast package worked really well, with coffee, fruit and snacks, more than we could finish. The pool was lovely too. Sylvie was a fantastic host who went out of her way to make our stay feel perfect. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend it.

Sylvie was so kind and helpful, and always easy to reach. Her tips and warm hospitality made our few days at Villa Madra in Bonifacio even better, and communication was smooth throughout. The villa was spotless and well maintained, with carefully chosen details and everything we needed, from the kitchen to the bedrooms. It felt comfortable and luxurious. We really enjoyed the peace, comfort, and beautiful setting, and would love to come back. We wholeheartedly recommend Villa Madra. Thank you for everything, Sylvie!

We found the place through a recommendation and were glad we did. The pool was superb, heated, which was a real plus in less pleasant weather, and safe for children. Sylvie welcomed us warmly and kindly, and took the time to share the advice we needed for a good stay. The houses are high quality with lovely finishes, and the outdoor spaces are practical, with a barbecue and even a pizza oven. Making pizza was a great family experience, especially with tips from Sylvie and her husband. I highly recommend it, and thank you again!
