Loved the charming courtyard at the back, and the location is handy if you’re staying near the old city. You can take a taxi right to the door, but book ahead. This place is a real gem, and the glowing reviews are deserved. The fresh food was delicious and beautifully presented. The chef, his wife, and the waiter were all fabulous. They catered to my vegan needs, though you should let them know in advance. High praise from me.

We’d been in Bordeaux for four weeks in June 2025, and on our last day a friend recommended this restaurant for lunch. The owner, a very kind woman, explained everything in English. The outside looks much like the other places on the street, but inside it feels completely different. The decor and atmosphere are elegant, and the food was delicious and carefully prepared. The owner clearly has great taste. This was the best French food we’ve had in Bordeaux, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting.

The white asparagus soup and fish amuse-bouche were spectacular, and the service was excellent. We came back this year and were all wowed by the chef’s creativity and skill. Chapeau bas!

The terrace outside is pleasant, and the wine was good. The prix fixe looked beautiful on the plate, but I’ve mostly forgotten it.

We had our best meal in Bordeaux here, and the price felt very fair for food of this standard. Everything was superb, with excellent service. We sat on the courtyard terrace, which was comfortable and nicely sheltered. Highly recommended.
