IKO Bordeaux Appartements

The room felt worn, and even basic things like bedside lamps were missing. I was just glad to leave. Sound carries so badly that you hear a next-door neighbor or anyone within 50 meters talking, snoring, or flushing. It feels like they’re in your room, so there’s no privacy and sleeping is hard. I travel a lot and have never had soundproofing this bad, especially for the price. After I complained, management confirmed all the rooms have the same soundproofing. What should have been a relaxing holiday turned into a nightmare, with several days of little or no sleep.

We’d definitely recommend staying here when you’re visiting Bordeaux. Thanks!

The apartment was lovely, modern, clean, and comfortable. We found a place to park, though there aren’t many spots. The city center is about a 15-minute walk away.

The apartment was clean, but the layout could be better. I’d say it works better for six people than eight, since the sofa bed made it impossible to get a good night’s sleep. Getting to the city center wasn’t convenient either: it took at least 40 minutes by bus to reach the train station, and there were very few bars or restaurants nearby.
