We loved the personal feel of Au Coeur de Bordeaux. The staff were helpful, attentive and clearly wanted us to enjoy our stay. The house has lots of character, with charming antique décor, and it felt welcoming right away. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The location is a little outside the centre, but still walkable, which suited us in a city like Bordeaux. There was construction on the street, though we didn't notice any noise during our weekend. We'd happily recommend it to anyone visiting Bordeaux.

Such a lovely find in central Bordeaux. The vintage look and classic French antique furniture give the place real character, a welcome change from bland hotel rooms. Our bedroom was clean and well equipped, with a comfortable bed, crisp cotton sheets and a lovely Italian shower. We'll definitely be back.

A very good breakfast, a clean and comfortable room, and friendly, helpful people. The B&B is close to the city centre. Just be aware there's no lift. We were on the second floor, so keep the stairs in mind if you have difficulty with them.

The staff were accommodating, and I thought their little dog was sweet too 🥰. My first-floor ensuite was spacious, beautifully decorated and had a cute little balcony. I had a really nice three-day stay at this historic hotel, and I'd definitely choose it again if I return to Bordeaux.

The place is lovely and well located, with easy access to where we needed to go. Breakfast tasted delicious, but the portions were meager. We had to ask for toilet paper several times. On the other hand, when we requested extra hangers and an ironing board and iron, they brought them right away. The staff were all business, without much warmth or friendliness, and they gave us no help securing a ride to the airport. I think French speakers may feel more comfortable there than we did. I do appreciate what they did for us.
