Margot was incredibly friendly and helpful before and during our stay. We booked five rooms for ten people, and every room was clean, beautifully decorated and generously sized. The boutique hotel is in a picturesque, quaint neighborhood with independent shops, cafes and restaurants, and it’s only a 10-15 minute walk from Bordeaux’s main tourist area. It sits above a popular bakery, so you wake up to the smell of fresh baking. We had a perfect stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting Bordeaux.

Our reception and restaurant service were both really friendly, and we loved our stay. Kergomard was one of the nicest “hotel” rooms I’ve had the pleasure of staying in: a huge, tastefully furnished space with couches, places to lounge, and a small terrace. Right in the middle of Chartrons, the location is unbeatable for getting a real Bordeaux experience.

There’s a kitchen for making meals, and a supermarket on the same street, which is handy. It’s a cozy, lovely place for a week, though it also works well for a few nights. The restaurant downstairs serves good food and gives you a very French gastronomy experience in Bordeaux.

Margot was a great host, very helpful and made sure our stay went well. She can arrange wine tours too, which we’d recommend. The room was spacious and clean, and there are some great restaurants nearby. We loved staying here in Bordeaux and would recommend it to anyone heading there.
