We didn't book breakfast, but the hotel is in a neighborhood with cafes, grocery stores, and bakeries. Check their opening hours so you can plan around them. The area is quiet throughout the day, and the Metro, line 10, and a few bus stops are nearby. You'll need the Metro to reach the city centre, about 20 to 30 minutes away. Our deluxe room had enough space for two people and our suitcases, and the in-room amenities were adequate. We arrived early and the accommodating, approachable front desk staff were able to get us a room right away. We booked through Agoda, and they were responsive on the app too. I had a relaxing stay at Hotel Acanthe, and we'd definitely book it again for an affordable stay outside central Paris.

I especially looked forward to breakfast here, even though I usually skip it. The buffet was great, with sausage and ratatouille I loved, plus a pancake station. Around 2PM, they leave free cake and tea in the lobby, with the flavors changing each day. The room was clean and lovely, with plenty of space, and I liked the scent of the cleaning products. There wasn't a fridge, though. The staff were welcoming and kind. Most of the guests I noticed were French, with not many other ethnicities. This nice 4 star hotel is just outside Paris, with a Metro Line 10 station right across the street, so getting into and around Paris wasn't too hard. Getting here from CDG was more difficult, since there isn't a direct metro line. I had to take the bus or an uber.

The Mirror Bedroom is my favorite, and there are several room options, including baths or showers. Useful things like an ironing board, shoe cleaning for leather shoes, and umbrellas at reception are available. It's all set up to make you feel at home. The location works really well for a business stay, with parking and a cab stand, and the Metro right by the door. Line 10 gets you to gare d'Austerlitz Railway station in 28 minutes. Liudmyla serves breakfast at the table with a smile, and Stanislas at reception is warm and kind. My colleagues and I especially appreciated the lounge for its warm feel at breakfast and during meetings. The leisure area is comfortable and well equipped, with an English poolroom, fitness, and baby foot. Guests are always offered candies, homemade pastries, and tea before and after their stay.
