The Meuse valley has plenty of lovely, authentic villages to explore. This quiet, basic campsite makes a great starting point for a cycling holiday, and you can leave your car there safely for a reasonable parking fee. The owners are friendly and accommodating. At the little terrace, you can get homemade pizza or a bread, cheese and meat plate with salad, plus coffee and other drinks. They also offer bread at reception.

The staff were really friendly and spoke very good English. I turned up without a reservation and there was lots of room, but I chose a gite for the night. It was one side of a triangular cabin with two beds and a plug socket, and cost €20. I’m not sure whether that price is per gite or per person. There’s a small bar and a long menu if you’re in the mood for pizza, which was excellent. Breakfast was a croissant and baguette with butter and jam, reasonably priced and welcome fuel for my cycling the next morning. It was peaceful, apart from the usual sounds of nature. Bring your own toilet paper. I’d recommend it and would definitely stay again if I’m passing by.

Bicycle traveller here. The owner and staff were very welcoming, and the homemade pizza was good. You can also get breakfast if you order it the evening before. It’s a really pleasant campsite, with huts available if you’d rather stay in one. The pitches are huge and the price is reasonable, all in a quiet setting.

We had a great stay, with lots of space throughout the campground and generous tent pitches. It’s peaceful and surrounded by nature, and there are plenty of hiking options nearby. When our car gave us trouble, the owners were a huge help getting us back on the road.

The campsite was really quiet, with an amazing view and lots of shade from trees and bushes. The owner and everyone there were very nice and courteous, and communicating in English was no problem. You can order delicious fruit and vegetables from their garden. The restrooms were nice, and Wi-Fi was free. It was the best campsite of our trip. Hopefully we’ll come back.
