Kyriad Brest Centre

The hotel itself is nice, with friendly staff and clean rooms. The area around it feels very unsafe. Around five in the afternoon, a large young man punched my wife as we walked along the sidewalk. Someone eventually stepped in to help, but most people just kept walking and didn't want to get involved. I won't be back. If you do need to stay in this part of town, there's a nice Japanese restaurant a few blocks away.

The bathroom was modern, and the shower was much bigger than I expected. I also liked the large TV with satellite channels, including several international options. The room felt cosy thanks to the materials and soft indirect lighting, and the bed and memory foam pillow were comfortable. The curtains kept the room dark, and the windows did a good job of blocking street noise. The kettle with tea and instant coffee was a nice touch, though there was no fridge. Staff were friendly and helpful. The Kyriad is right in the centre, with the "Octroi" tram stop almost outside. My only gripe was the weak WiFi reception in my room.

We could walk everywhere from this spot, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was really comfortable, and everything was very clean. There was some noise at night, but that comes with the location. I'd happily stay again.

We loved our stay and would come back next year. The staff were so nice, and the rooms were clean and tidy. Breakfast was fresh, though the choices were limited.
