A peaceful, pleasant place. Perfect for a holiday.

The €100 security deposit was demanded when we arrived, and a large dog was roaming around the apartment on the day we got the keys. The exterior looks attractive in the photos, but inside it was filthy: dust everywhere, dirty dishes, cobwebs, and used sheets and towels that smelled. The linens were repulsive and completely unfit for paid accommodation. The bathroom was dirty too, with an old discarded soap bar, only half a roll of toilet paper, and no dish soap. The tablecloth in the living room was stained, and the promised Wi-Fi didn’t exist at all. This feels like a complete rip-off. The site should be shut down for hygiene reasons, since it meets none of the basic standards. It’s hard to understand how it can still be rented when hotels and guesthouses have to follow strict rules.

We had to get out after one night of pure nightmare. The place was filthy, with an appalling smell, unwashed dishes, an overflowing bin, cobwebs and stinking used sheets. What a disgrace. Don’t be taken in by the pretty exterior photos. This kind of accommodation should be shut down for obvious hygiene and fraud reasons. It’s unbelievable that it can be allowed when hotels and B&Bs face all these regulations. Health inspectors really should visit. Truly appalling.

We didn’t stay and went to find somewhere else. When we arrived in the courtyard, the big dog immediately jumped on our car. She led us into her apartment and kept warning us to watch where we stepped. She said there was no heating in the bedroom because of flies. She sleeps in the next room and asked for total silence. The bathroom is shared with her, and if you come back late, you have to be careful around the dog, which sleeps in the house, and talk to it so it won’t jump on you. The bedroom door doesn’t lock either.

Such a surprise of a place, and such a warm welcome. A lovely stay to switch off for a while!
