The pitches are nicely shaded by trees, and there’s plenty of room for kids to enjoy the site. It’s about a 6 km drive to Le Puy en Velay, where the Saturday market is really good. There’s also a pool open from 10 am to 6:30 pm in July and August, plus a fridge and small freezer in the salle de animation. WiFi only reaches near reception, and there’s a pizza restaurant but no bar or drinks service, which seems odd. One real drawback is the distance to the only toilet block by the entrance. If you’re in the far section, pitches 48-71, it can mean a walk of around 300 metres. The campsite is quite large and costs a bit more than other Camping Municipal sites. Also, the entrance closes after 10 pm, so for the Le Puy light show you’ll need to leave your car outside.
