Château de La Grèze

The kids loved the big gîte we booked for our eight children. We came back after two years because we enjoyed our first visit so much, and this time we stayed in the château again. We wouldn't miss Anne's excellent breakfast, and it was lovely to sleep in such a splendid room once more. A huge thank you to the owners. Maybe we'll see you next year!

Breakfast was excellent and plentiful, freshly prepared and served by the hostess each morning. The owners have renovated the château and grounds with so much care and taste, and everything is spotless and very well kept. We were back at the beautiful Chateau de la Greze this year, and again loved the location, rooms, and the owners' warm welcome. They quickly arranged a garage for our classic car, and our hostess even treated us to a wonderful dinner one evening. We had a great holiday and will definitely return. Thank you!

The peaceful setting and lovely landscape make a beautiful backdrop for this lovingly restored castle. It's clean and well maintained, and breakfast was excellent, with homemade bread, jam, and fresh fruit. Ann's table d'hôte was a real highlight, with French cuisine. The hosts are so welcoming. When our classic car broke down, Philip and Ann arranged a rental car and helped us with everything. This was our second stay at the chateau, and we'll be back next year.

The château is magnificent and very well kept, with beautiful, luxurious rooms and lovely bathrooms. The hosts are very friendly and passionate hobbyists. It's in an attractive setting, close to Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne and Colonge la Rouge. Highly recommended.
